An iconic entertainment venue set in the heart of Sydney's stunning Eastern Suburbs, The Golden Sheaf is a nightlife institution.

Serving as a magnet for generations of party-goers, Double Bay's premier drinking, dining, pet friendly, sport and late-night party destination is steeped in history, our leafy oasis always providing the perfect escape from city life.

Dig into delicious food with your mates from our award-winning kitchen, grab a cold beer and get comfy with your furry friend under the giant fig tree in the Beer Garden or step it up with cocktails on the Rooftop and dance the night away to DJ-curated tunes and live bands.

Keen just to kick back for a chat and escape the city? Our sunny Beer Garden, immersed beneath the iconic, 80-year-old oak tree, promises a chilled out atmosphere all night long.

For those after a more exclusive experience, the Rooftop has it all. Here you'll rub shoulders with the beautiful people of the East, have the best view of the house surrounded by lush greenery and a perfect vibe under the stars.

Enter via our back entrance in Kiaora Lane and you will come across a wall of fame dedicated to the history of the Davis Cup in Double Bay.

What a lot of people don’t know is that where The Golden Sheaf currently stands, the Double Bay Grounds once stood, playing an important role in Australian tennis history.

The Double Bay Grounds hosted the Australasian Championships (now the Australian Open) in 1919, which saw Aussie tennis veteran Gerald Patterson win the finals, and the International Lawn Tennis Challenge (now the Davis Cup) in both 1909 and 1919.

Who knew our home was such a golden gem!
