The St Mark’s Anglican Church Darling Point community has sought to help care for our neighbours in practical ways during COVID-19. One way has been by providing practical food and financial support to Rough Edges, the support group for the homeless located at St John’s Darlinghurst.  St Mark’s has initiated a cash drive for this worthy cause, with a target of $10,000.  So far $6,500 has been raised.  We would love for members of our local community to join with us in supporting Rough Edges.  You can still donate here: https://makingadifference.gofundraise.com.au/page/StMarksDP-3777111

In addition, over the past three weeks the St Mark’s, Rough Edges charity drive has raised 53 bags full of non-perishable food items from supermarkets around Sydney.  Thank you to Woolworths for donating 1,580 food items, Bakers Delight for offering fresh bread items for upcoming events at Rough Edges and all at St Mark’s who donated or volunteered.
