Waverley Council will be carrying out maintenance works in early September to improve the safety of the Bondi Park outdoor fitness station at North Bondi.
The works will take around a month to complete and include:
* new rubber softfall to meet Australian Standards
* adding concrete pads to high-wear zones
* repairing fitness equipment as required
* relocating the water bubbler
The fitness station will be closed to the public during the works. The works will begin after works along the promenade at North Bondi have been completed.
Nearby residents have been informed of the works which are scheduled to take place 7am to 5pm on weekdays and from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
The Bondi Park outdoor fitness station is one of the most popular outdoor gyms in Sydney. For updates about the project, please subscribe to Waverley Council’s e-newsletter at waverley.nsw.gov.au/subscribe
