Murray Rose Pool is currently closed due to a sewage issue. We will provide an update once the issue is rectified.
Swimming at Parsley Bay and Watsons Bay should also be avoided due to the possibility of pollution. Please check the Beachwatch website for updates before you swim.
Additionally, we have been advised by Water NSW that algal blooms have been detected in the Watsons Bay area. Swimmers should avoid contact with water that has a pink/orange discolouration, as it may cause skin and eye irritation.
Swimming spots that may be affected include Watsons Bay Baths, Camp Cove, Parsley Bay, Gibsons Beach and Kutti Beach.
