Families with kids age 8yrs+ Enable your kids to make a difference. Kids Giving Back still has some spaces left for our next Cook4Dignity volunteering program, Saturday July 27 https://tinyurl.com/2019Cook4Dignity
Location: Juanita Nielsen Community Centre, Woolloomooloo, a City of Sydney community space.
Cook nutritious meals desperately needed by our charity partner Dignity, which provides emergency accommodation and essential services to those in need largely as a result of domestic violence, as well as for men and women who are homeless. Participants prepare and cook 300 meals that are then collected by our friends from Dignity for distribution.
"For our guests to know that these meals are prepared by volunteers from the community means so much, it makes them feel like they are not forgotten and people genuinely do care and that in itself gives them hope.”
